Carnival Cruise Line’s much-anticipated exclusive destination, Celebration Key, is set to welcome its first guests on July 19, 2025, with company president Christine Duffy scheduled to officially open the venue.
The new destination has already captured significant attention, consistently ranking amongst the most-searched cruise destinations on Google, and the company has shared new pictures of the destination.
Celebration Key promises visitors “the ultimate day in paradise” with an array of attractions designed to cater to different preferences and age groups.
The destination forms part of Carnival’s Paradise Collection, which includes RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay and Isla Tropicale, with the latter two destinations scheduled to receive enhancements in 2026.

The centrepiece of Celebration Key is the 10-storey Suncastle, decorated with five enormous conch shells and featuring two water slides exceeding 350 feet in length.
These slides wind through and around the structure, offering guests competitive racing experiences with dramatic turns and light displays before reaching a splashing finish.
The destination boasts the Caribbean’s largest freshwater lagoons, Calypso and Starfish, spanning more than 275,000 square feet combined. Calypso Lagoon caters to adults seeking refreshment, whilst Starfish Lagoon provides family-friendly entertainment.
At Calypso Lagoon’s DJ Island, visitors can enjoy music and refreshments at Mingo’s Tropical Bar & Kitchen, which features the world’s largest swim-up bar with 166 in-water seats serving Bahamian cuisine.

For those seeking premium experiences, Celebration Key offers Over-the-Lagoon Super Villas accommodating up to 10 guests with amenities including stocked mini fridges, fresh fruit and snacks on arrival, lunch delivery, dedicated sun-shelves with water loungers and private water slides into the lagoon.
Four Over-the-Lagoon Supervillas are available, with two positioned over the adults-only Calypso Lagoon and two over the family-friendly Starfish Lagoon, plus additional Beach Supervillas at both family and adults-only beaches.
Pearl Cove Beach Club provides an exclusive adults-only retreat featuring an 11,000-square-foot private infinity pool with swim-up bar, private beach access, and a full-service restaurant offering an elevated menu with indoor and outdoor seating.
