Britons love holidaying in Spain and with the help of some major British airlines, there will be even more opportunities to visit the popular European destination in 2024.
For those looking for sun, sea, sand and sangria, British Airways and Jet2 have provided more routes to Spain from UK airports.
British Airways
The airline said: “British Airways has announced the launch of various long-haul and short-haul routes from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and Edinburgh for 2024.
“In addition, the national flag carrier is returning to London Stansted for the first time since the pandemic as it continues to increase the choices available to its customers globally.”

Ibiza
Ibiza is celebrated for its party scene, stunning beaches and idyllic old town – the beautiful Spanish destination has something for everyone.
From May 18, 2024, British Airways will be flying to Ibiza on weekends from London Stansted, departing on Sundays.
This is in addition to regular flights from London Heathrow, London City and London Gatwick. Flights will be available from £72 return.
San Sebastian
San Sebastian is home to picturesque beaches and world-renowned cuisine. The city is brimming with Michelin-starred restaurants.
From May 25, 2024, flights will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays from Edinburgh Airport. Flights will be available from £164 return.
Jet2
Britons heading to Spain in 2024 can fly to Lanzarote, Alicante and Reus from Manchester Airport.
Lanzarote
Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands, is the perfect destination for tourists who want to visit volcanic landscapes, spend time relaxing on the beach or play sports – particularly water sports.
There will be additional daily services from Manchester Airport to Lanzarote between April 21 and November 1, 2024.
Alicante
Brimming with excellent beaches, Alicante is an ideal destination for Britons seeking out the sea. It is also home to plenty of monuments and museums for those who love exploring culture and history.
From May 26 to October 31, 2024, there will be extra services to Alicante on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
