The Breakfast host said: “Roger was my Bond, I mean Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan were superb. The thing why it was Roger with me is because Roger became a personal friend.
It was the most amazing thing that a man who I’d seen as Ivanhoe, as the Protectors and as James Bond. Then he became a personal friend and he was a lovely, divine, gorgeous man.
“I was at his funeral and there were a hundred people there, and it was just a privilege to be there.
“I have a doll at home, an Action man type doll, of Roger Moore in the outfit from Live and Let Die.”
