Wolves boss Gary O’Neil has admitted he’s ‘trying to stay calm’ in the wake of his side’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.

John Stones scored a dramatic late header to secure victory for Pep Guardiola’s team after Jorgen Strand Larsen and Josko Gvardiol bagged in the first half.

O’Neil raged at full time, however, with the 41-year-old incensed at the decision to give the goal.

Bernardo Silva appeared to give goalkeeper Jose Sa a nudge while standing in an offside position. Much to O’Neil’s anger, however, the goal was awarded by referee Chris Kavanagh after he’d checked the monitor.
