The 10 best places to visit for a relaxing autumn walk have been shared.

With half term already underway in some parts of the UK, it could be the perfect time for a staycation.

If unsure where to go, experts have shared the spots with the best walks this autumn.

Photography experts at Lafayette Photography looked at 50 renowned British walks to see which had gathered the most traction on social media.

It found the best spots based on how many hashtag mentions the areas had on TikTok.

The north of England and Scotland dominated most of the list, although the number one place to visit was a southern spot.

Castle Combe was found to be the best walk with more than 65 million hashtag results.

The most popular walks were shared


Castle Combe has been praised by visitors on Tripadvisor. One said it is a “beautiful and picturesque hamlet”.

Another said: “It’s many years since we visited here and I’d forgotten just how pretty it is. You can’t stop taking photos every way you turn!”

One more holidaymaker agreed and said it is a “very beautiful well kept village”.
