Tyson Fury has told his wife, Paris, that she’s a ‘lucky lady’ after he beat Cristiano Ronaldo to be crowned the world’s sexiest sportsman.

The 35-year-old was given top spot in a list compliled by

The study asked 2,000 UK-based women to rate 30 male sports athletes on a scale of 1-10 in regard to their ‘sexiness’.

Fury came out on top, beating Ronaldo, Anthony Joshua and Travis Kelce to the mantle.

And Fury has now sent a message to wife Paris on Instagram, saying: “Paris, just a quick one. I’ve just been voted the sexiest sportsman alive for the first time.

“Beat Ronaldo, pipped him at the post. Get up there!

“You’re married to the sexiest sportsman alive according to 2,000 women.”

Fury then winked at the camera and mischievously added: “You lucky lady.”

Conor McGregor came tenth in the list, with Lionel Messi and Rory McIlroy then ranked ninth and eighth respectively.

Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland also made the cut, with Ronaldo then coming in fifth.

Sitting in fourth was F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, who has opened up about the chaos in Las Vegas on Friday.

And Kelce and Joshua both finished behind Fury, much to the Gypsy King’s delight.

The 35-year-old is set to turn his immediate focus on his upcoming showdown with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

The pair had been due to fight in December but, with their bout delayed, have now announced February 17 as the fresh date.

And Fury feels he’s the only man capable of stopping Usyk from dominating boxing for many years ahead.

“There’s only me who stands in the way of him and total domination of Europe,” he told Sky Sports.

“He’s beaten all of the British guys – Chisora, Joshua, Dubois – and there’s only me.

“I’m the dauntless in his waters, let’s just say that.

“They’ve got to pull out the long-range guns and we’ll see.

“If he beats me, which he can’t, there will be nothing which stands in his way of total domination.

“[He can’t beat me] because I’m ‘The Gypsy King’ – that’s enough.”

And Fury also expressed a belief he was destined to reign supreme, despite Usyk representing one of the toughest challenges of his career.

“It’s been 24 years since we’ve last had an undisputed heavyweight world champion,” he added.

“And we know that the Klitschkos were champions for about 10 years.

“So there’s been another 14 years where other heavyweights couldn’t stop it.

“So we’ve been chosen. And I believe we’re both destined to be here.

“And there’s only one winner: I’m destined to become undisputed champion.”
