Former American boxer Timothy Bradley has sensationally suggested that the cut Tyson Fury sustained last week was ‘deliberate’ and ‘set up’ to delay his fight with Oleksandr Usyk.
Bradley reckons the Gypsy King’s team wanted the fight to be put back in order for him to get into the best physical condition.

News broke last Friday that Fury had suffered a cut above his right eye in a freak accident in sparring.
The 35-year-old was said to be ‘devastated’ after he was inadvertently caught by an elbow from Croatian MMA star and boxer Agron Smakici, video footage of which was soon leaked.
However, Bradley is not buying it and believes the incident was arranged for Fury to get cut.
Bradley began his rant on Deep Waters by questioning why Fury was sparring with a fighter such as Smakici in the first place.
And he claimed this could be the start of ‘the end of Tyson Fury’ as a boxer.
Bradley said: “Karma’s a b***h. Listen, from that elbow Tyson Fury threw against [Francis] Ngannou and the elbow he received in the sparring session… people you’ve got to understand, Tyson Fury is sparring an MMA guy.
“That’s who he’s sparring to get ready for Usyk. This just might be the downfall or the end of Tyson Fury.”
Bradley then unleashed on Fury with an outlandish claim that it was set up for Smakici to appear to hurt him in sparring.
He said: “I smell something. I smell bulls**t, that’s what I smell.
“If you go and you look at that video, first of all the video had to be shot with a Samsung or something like that because the quality was all grainy… it looks disgusting.
“When you look at it in slow motion, did that elbow, which looked deliberate, land on the eye of Tyson Fury? No. the punch landed on the chin of Tyson Fury.
“If you look up the guy, he says that he landed a punch. That’s what he said, ‘I landed a punch on the guy’.
“He claimed it was a punch that landed against Tyson Fury but they put out this little video and that elbow that was thrown, that was deliberate, and it landed on the chin.
“I don’t know, I smell something fishy man. I see the cut. I get it.”
Bradley then claimed that previous quotes from Fury’s father John had suggested he wanted the fight to be later than the February date.
Bradley said: “I remember listening to John Fury and him saying that the fight in February was too soon.

Timothy Bradley claims the Tyson Fury cut was set up for the fight to be delayed

“He said that it was too soon because Tyson Fury needs to get back into form, conditioning. He said he didn’t like what he saw in the Ngannou fight.
“He said the fact that Tyson Fury looked the way he looked, he said he had to be 1000 times better if he’s going to beat a fighter like Usyk.
“So with that being said, this could be a setup. In my eyes, this could be a setup. I understand the cut is there, and things happen, but that elbow looked freakin’ deliberate.
“Like it was thrown deliberately. It landed on the chin from my eye’s perspective.”
John Fury did raise concerns last November that February was too soon for his son to fight Usyk.

Fury senior told the Metro: “February 17 is the date they have got to work towards. In my opinion, Tyson needs a bit more time to get his conditioning right and his weight right.
“He is taking more punches now than he has taken in his whole career and that could have shortened his career. That is the worry we have got here.”
Bradley believes Fury will be fully recovered from the cut come May 18.
He concluded: “I know the question is ‘Is the eye going to be a factor?’.
“I don’t think the cut will be a factor at all. I think the fight goes on and I think Tyson Fury gets in there and he fights Usyk on the proper date which is now in May.”
