Former UFC fighter Darren Till has launched a scathing attack on Tommy Fury after the Love Island star withdrew from their scheduled boxing match at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena.
The bout, which was set for January 18, fell apart after Fury pulled out due to concerns about Till’s earlier threat to kick him during the fight.
The cancellation has sparked a bitter war of words, with Till insisting his kick threat was merely promotional talk designed to generate interest in the contest.
During a promotional event last month, Till had made a controversial statement suggesting he would illegally kick Fury if he found himself losing the boxing match.

This threat, though apparently intended as promotional banter, proved to be the breaking point for Fury’s camp.
The former Love Island star subsequently withdrew from the contest, taking Till’s comments about potential kicks to the head as a serious concern.
“For the one simple reason being that Darren has stated over and over that he does not want to abide by professional boxing rules and that if he is loosing (sic) the fight he will resort to kicking and other stupid MMA tactics,” Fury said.
“I am a professional boxer, I have been out of the ring for over a year and I wanted this to be a great BOXING fight for the fans.
“I have wasted weeks in training camp. We are working hard to get a new opponent and date.
“I promise to get a better opponent and better fight for you guys. Good news around the corner.”

Till took to social media platform X to express his fury at the cancellation, directly targeting both Fury and his father John.
“I was selling the fight to make me and you more money you absolute empty head fighting family my a** you and ur dad s**thouses,” Till wrote.
The former UFC fighter insisted his earlier threat had been purely promotional, aimed at building interest in the contest.
“I don’t need to throw kicks you was getting knocked spark out you divvy we was making bank on this fight cos of me not you,” he continued.
Till claimed he had been the driving force behind generating interest in the bout.
In a final twist to his social media outburst, Till turned his attention to Jake Paul, challenging the American boxer.

“Jake Paul what are you up to you big fat dummy?” Till wrote on X.
Paul recently competed in a professionally sanctioned bout against Mike Tyson, 58, which he won.
Till had earlier claimed that “no one wants to fight me” before directing his challenge at Paul.
