Three arrested after report man shot with a crossbow in Craigavon | UK News

Three men have been arrested following a report that a man was shot twice in the leg with a crossbow in Craigavon, Northern Ireland.

The incident reportedly took place in the Rosmoyle area of the town this morning, officers said.

Inspector Browne from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said officers “received a report at around 5am that a man in his 20s was shot twice in the leg with a crossbow”.

Police attended with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) who took the man to hospital for his injuries.

Three men aged 23, 32 and 34 remain in custody after being arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

The force that covers Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon has said its enquiries are at an early stage and is asking anyone with mobile phone or dashcam footage to contact them.
