Blackpool took the number one spot which is surprisingly affordable to stay in despite being popular with tourists.

Experts said: “Blackpool claims first place, with a weekend getaway for two costing just £57 – around £28 per person.
“Famous for attractions like Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Tower, this much-loved destination offers an ideal staycation spot for Britons, combining fun and affordability.”
Pleasure Beach is a popular spot in Blackpool as it offers rides and other entertainment. Many people who have been have praised it on Tripadvisor.
It has more than 15,000 reviews on the website with an average of four out of five stars.

One recent reviewer wrote: “Great day out. The rides were excellent and lots of eating options. We left the park with smiles on our faces. We will definitely return.”
Another said: “Great place. I struggled to get through the ride due to it being busy, but I will be back. Amazing day. Better to book only for easy access.”
