Ryanair has issued a warning to passengers about potential flight disruptions affecting UK routes on Thursday, December 5, due to forecasted high winds.
The airline confirmed that affected passengers will be notified of any changes to their flights.
Travellers flying to or from the UK on Thursday are advised to check their Ryanair app for the latest flight updates.
“We regret any inconvenience caused to passengers by these weather conditions, which are outside of Ryanair’s control and affect all airlines operating to/from the UK on Thursday 5 December,” the airline stated.
The airline has added new flights to and from Morocco PA Ryanair expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by these weather conditions, which are beyond their control.
The weather disruptions are expected to impact all airlines operating UK routes on Thursday. Jet2 has also issued a warning to passengers about potential flight disruptions as severe weather hits the UK.
The airline anticipates disruptions from Thursday, December 5 through to Sunday, December 8, with strong winds and heavy rain expected to impact travel plans.
The Met Office has put in place both yellow and amber weather warnings for wind across the UK during this period.
The warnings span from Thursday through to Sunday, indicating a significant weather event that could impact travel and transport services.
While Jet2 plans to operate flights as close to schedule as possible, they have urged passengers to take precautions.
“We advise all customers to allow extra time to travel to the airport and check in as scheduled,” the airline stated.

Jet2 confirmed they will contact affected passengers directly via SMS and email if flights are disrupted. They also advised customers to check that their information is correct.
Its warning continued: “We will, where possible, board all flights for an on-time departure, however, please be prepared for a longer than normal wait either in the terminal or onboard the aircraft to depart.”
“Jet2.com would like to apologise in advance for any disruption you may experience. Your comfort and safety is our number one priority, we will have you on the way as soon as possible.”
