Rio Ferdinand has criticised any West Ham fan who wants David Moyes to lose his job.
The former Hammers defender says any person who thinks Moyes’ time is coming to an end is being ‘disrespectful’.
Ferdinand said on TNT Sports: “Listen, I can’t believe it. Where’s the fans? I need to speak to the fans, the West Ham fans.
“What I’d like to know is what are you really expecting? What are you asking for from David Moyes?

“I’ve seen people disgruntled, not happy with David Moyes, asking should he be changed.
“When you look at it, they won a European competition last year, they spent the £100m from Declan Rice exquisitely well, fantastically well, they’re all playing in the team and doing well.
“And they’re sixth in the league, you have to be realistic sometimes.
“I think it’s disrespectful even to be asking about David Moyes now because I think he’s done a fabulous job here and I think you can’t ask to have it all.
“You have to be understanding of where West Ham are as a football club.
“In the positions that they’re in right now, I think he’s doing a fabulous job and to be questioned is just ridiculous, considering where West Ham have been at times.
“They’ve been in the Championship, they’ve been languishing at times in the Premier League, but they’re in a really healthy state at the moment.
“I think sometimes you’ve got to sit back and say ‘Be careful what you wish for’.
“What I would say is it’s not every West Ham fan. It’s a small, loud portion, I get it.
“I think what goes against David Moyes is just that he isn’t that swashbuckling character.
“He is quite reserved at times and he does downplay himself and his achievements and he doesn’t play to the media and stuff, and that might go against him as well.”
