The Met Office has issued a weather warning for thunderstorms across London and the South East.
The yellow warning will be in place from 10am to 9pm tomorrow.
Thunderstorms and heavy showers could cause disruption, the Met Office said.
Weather experts have warned there could be “torrential downpours” in some places with as much as 25 to 35mm of rain falling within an hour and the possibility of 60mm within two hours.
Spray and sudden flooding could lead to more difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
Train and bus services could see delays and cancellations if flooding and lightning occurs.
There is also the chance of power cuts and flooding at homes and businesses, the Met Office added.
The warning covers a number of areas including Greater London, Oxfordshire, Bristol, Bath, Somerset and Southampton.

The weather warning will come into effect from tomorrow
Residents living in places at risk of flash flooding should consider “preparing a flood plan and emergency flood kit”.
Before travelling, motorists should check road conditions, while public transport users are advised to look at bus and train timetables.
The Met Office said Britons should check if items or temporary structures such as trampolines, tents, sheds and garden furniture which could be moved by winds are well secured.
