Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced the launch of flights and holidays to Amalfi Coast (Salerno) Airport for Summer 2025.
The expansion marks the company’s ninth Italian airport destination, offering customers from Birmingham and Manchester direct access to the iconic Amalfi Coast region.
The new routes will operate weekly on Mondays from May 26 to September 29, 2025, with both Birmingham and Manchester services being exclusive to Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
This comes amid strong demand from UK holidaymakers seeking to explore the world-renowned Italian coastline.

The addition of Amalfi Coast (Salerno) Airport, which recently reopened to commercial flights, expands Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ Italian network to nine airports across all seasons.
Customers can now book flight-only options with Jet2.com or package holidays with Jet2holidays to this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Package holidays include VIP customer service, airport transfers and ATOL protection, along with 22kg baggage allowance, available for a £60 per person deposit.
Flight-only bookings offer a 10kg hand luggage allowance with various flight times available.
Jet2holidays has expanded its offerings in the Amalfi Coast region, introducing new hotels in popular resorts such as Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, and Vietri sul Mare.
The company has also added Salerno as a brand-new destination. This ancient port city, situated on the edge of the Amalfi Coast, boasts a cathedral, old town, parks and museums.

This comes as Wizz Air warned Britons that strikes are set to cause air travel disruptions.
