Actor Jeremy Renner has revealed the treatment he has undergone since he was seriously injured by his six-tonne snowplough in January.

The Marvel star, 52, was left with significant injuries and broke more than 30 bones after he was accidentally run over by the plough while helping a family member on New Year’s Day.

A police report said Renner’s nephew was trying to free his car from the snow when the vehicle began to roll downhill.

Renner was airlifted to hospital in Reno, Nevada, and spent time in an intensive care unit.

In a new Instagram post, Renner has revealed the various treatments he has undergone since his accident.

He wrote: “I have been exploring EVERY type of therapy since Jan 14th … everyday, countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, iv drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on….

“My greatest therapy has been my mind and the will to be here and push to recover and be better…. Be exceptional… I feel it’s my duty to do so. Not to squander my life being spared, but to give back to my family, friends, and all of you whom have empowered me to endure. I thank you all. #loveandtitanium.”

Several of the treatments referenced by Renner are usually used as anti-aging procedures for the skin – including injections of the protein peptide, exosome therapy – similar to stem cell therapy – and infrared therapy.

He also claims to have used a hyperbaric chamber, which involves breathing in pure oxygen under increased atmospheric pressure.
