Jake Paul potential next opponent after Mike Tyson fight sends chilling warning

British boxer Tony Bellew has called out Jake Paul as well as telling him to take on a legitimate fighter.

While there is no denying that there is curiosity surrounding Paul’s upcoming fight against Mike Tyson, many have criticised the bout for its age gap.

When the two meet in the boxing ring on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, it will be the biggest age gap in professional boxing at 31 years.

Tipsters have Paul as the slight favourite due to his age but if Tyson can demonstrate the monstrous power he possessed in his youth, it could be a very different outcome.

Nevertheless, Bellew is not impressed with the YouTube star and told him he must go for titles – not glitzy names.

While giving an exclusive interview to Safest Casino Sites, the former cruiserweight boxer also told Paul he would ‘eat him alive’.

He said: “Listen, everyone’s got a price, but he [Jake Paul] would never fight me, I would eat him alive.

“Just face a real boxer. I’ll tell you what, just come over to England, get a licence and try and win an English title.

“If you can win an English title or the British title, I’ll take my hat off to you. Or go do it in the USA, do where you’re from.

“Win the US Cruiserweight title. As soon as he steps in with anyone who has any kind of reasonable boxing experience he’s had it. He’s getting taken to school.”

Paul has fought 11 times professionally as a boxer, though only one of these fights came against an actual boxer – Tommy Fury – which he lost.

Tyson, meanwhile, has not fought professionally since 2005 when he was forced to retire on his stool in a defeat to Kevin McBride.

However, over his career, Iron Mike became one of the best heavyweight fighters of all time – winning 44 of his 50 victories by knockout.

Tyson did fight in 2020, in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr, who has told Paul he will need to make urgent changes to his training if he wants to stand a chance.

Speaking to BetWay, Jones Jr said: “Mike Tyson can beat anybody he wants to when he feels like it.

“Jake Paul on the other hand needs to make some adjustments and learn to do things he hasn’t done before.

“I think Mike will teach him a lesson and teach him as he goes and teach him about boxing, because Mike knows all the ins and outs of boxing.

“I think with that being said, Mike could win the fight early and will do that.

“If Jake can hang around long enough to tire Mike out, because he’s a 58-year-old man so that’s possible, then he has a great chance.”
