Jake Paul, the social media sensation turned boxer, has revealed he contemplated suicide after losing £23 million due to his brother Logan’s controversial ‘suicide forest’ video.
In a candid interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Paul disclosed the devastating impact of the 2018 incident on his career and mental health.
“I got lumped into all my brother’s hate. It was like, ‘F*** the Pauls. F*** both of those people.’ It was bad,” Paul said.
The fallout from the video led to the collapse of lucrative deals, including a significant retail products contract.
Paul’s life spiralled out of control following the controversy.
He revealed a shocking plan to end his life: “I was going to put a bunch of gas cans in my Lamborghini and get really drunk and drive off the top of this cliff in Calabasas. It’s called Stunt Road.”
