ITV has shared a trailer promoting Kate Garraway’s return to the channel for the first time since Derek Draper’s death.
The TV presenter’s husband died following years of health woes and complications after catching Covid.
A few weeks before Christmas 2023, Derek suffered a cardiac arrest and Garraway has been absent from the channel ever since.
Garraway was joined by friends and family on Friday, February 2 for Draper’s funeral where the likes of Elton John, Tony Blair and Sir Keir Starmer were in attendance.
On Monday, she’ll give an emotionally-charged interview on ITV and is reportedly eyeing up a return to presenting duties later this week.

To promote the interview, the Good Morning Britain X account shared a clip explaining what viewers can expect.
The voiceover for the trailer reads: “Kate Garraway has shared the story of caring for Derek for the last four years, highlighting the struggle faced by thousands.
“Tomorrow she returns to Good Morning Britain to talk for the first time since the death of her beloved husband. From 6am on Good Morning Britain.”
Garraway’s interview is believed to be her first foray back into on-screen duties as she’s reportedly lining up a comeback to the show in a presenting role on Thursday alongside Ben Shephard.
Ahead of her on-screen return, a source told The Sun: “Kate has had an incredibly rough past couple of months, and it has taken its toll mentally and physically.
“But she is a workhorse, and journalism, being on live TV, runs through her blood — it’s what she knows and loves.
“Kate is keen to keep busy and get stuck back into work. It’s the perfect time for her to be reunited with her GMB family.”
They added: “After caring for Derek, and her family, for almost four years, Kate needs to get back to some sort of normality. And she wants to throw herself back into work, 3.45am starts and all.”
