Celebrity Big Brother aired its second live eviction earlier tonight and it was soon revealed Lauren Simon was the one who’d been voted off.

Responding to the eviction, fans were divided, but some were left fuming that former X Factor star Louis Walsh remained on the show.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Simon was voted off during Tuesday’s live eviction. The eviction was between herself, Walsh and Fern Britton, but the public had the final say, and Simon received the fewest votes.

While hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best paused for a moment while announcing the result, leaving the trio to anxiously wait, chants of “get Louis out!” could be heard coming from the crowds watching.

Moments earlier, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu had been in tears while talking to Simon about her potential exit from the show.

The Love Island star definitely isn’t the only one upset by the news, with fans flooding to social media to complain about the result.

“PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS A JOKE?! #CBBUK #cbb,” one wrote, while another shared: “Wrong decision! You’re a winner in my eyes Lauren! #CBBUK #CBB #CelebrityBigBrother.”

“Honestly Lauren being evicted against Fern & Louis is a crime #CBB #CBBUK,” another complained.

“Lauren needed to go but it should have been Louis first! People saving him for the sake of drama but he’s vile! #CBBUK #CBB,” a third fumed.

However, some were more accepting of the vote, with another viewer commenting: “Oh well, at least Fern is safe #cbb.”

“Lauren didn’t bring the Tea. That’s why she’s gone #cbb #CBBUK,” someone else theorised. (sic)

The housemates were later informed Osbourne had been watching them as they made their votes, but were then given the extra bombshell that Osbourne would be deciding who she’d save from the trio – and who she would add in.

Fans immediately assumed Osbourne would opt to save close pal and former X Factor star Walsh, and were left surprised when she instead saved Millz.

An awkward moment came when Osbourne was asked to pick another name to go against the duo, and after some hesitation she selected Fern Britton, explaining that she wasn’t “ageist” but felt the youngsters had formed more of a bond.
