Former winner of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Harry Redknapp, has shared his support for Nigel Farage on the ITV reality show.

The GB News presenter and former Brexit Party leader remains in the Australian jungle after the elimination of YouTuber Nella Rose and Chef Fred Sirieix.

Last night, Nigel Farage let loose as he he bared his chest and sang karaoke, recreating the iconic GB News Right Said Fred routine to I’m Too Sexy.

The remaining campmates were invited to go the Jungle Arms Pub after completing their three missions for the day.

Nigel has faced several obstacles during his time on the show, including run-ins with Nella Rose on immigration and cultural appropriation, and a fiery debate with Frenchman Fred Sirieix on Brexit.

Nigel also proved himself in the Bushtucker trials after being voted by the public to win stars for camp.

Reacting on his time in the show in 2018, Harry Redknapp joked he is “much happier sitting at home” this year, instead of “being stuck in that jungle and eating all that crazy food”.

Redknapp told GB News that “no one wants to be the first celebrity voted out”.

Redknapp revealed: “When you go in there, you don’t really want to be the first one voted out, if I’m truthful. You think if you go out second or third or fourth, you’ll be quite happy. You’ve done your bit, enjoyed it.

“But Nigel’s hung in there. I think he’s doing OK. I don’t know. I think he’ll be in there for quite a while yet. I don’t see him getting voted out at the moment. I think he’s doing quite well.”

GB News host Richard Tice then asked Redknapp his thoughts on reports that Nigel’s discussions are being “deliberately cut” by ITV, after it was suggested that Nigel had spoken about former US President Donald Trump, but it didn’t make the final edit of the episode.

Tice asked: “People want to hear Nigel’s thoughts, surely?”

Redknapp replied: “They show what they want to show, basically. They can show you really in any light they want to show you because there’s so much film.

“They’re filming 24 hours a day, so they’ll show what they want to show, and that’s one of his concerns about not getting enough airtime, and maybe that was the reason Frankie got voted out.

“I don’t know if it’s true. I read somewhere today in the paper that Nigel, when Frankie got voted out, Nigel said to him it’s a fix. I bet that didn’t go down too well.”
