Popular performance series From The Block has locked in a partnership deal with Sparta Distribution, the companies announced today (April 3).
Since its 2021 inception, From The Block Performance has gained traction through viral performances from Cardi B, Offset, Chris Brown, Lil Yachty and 4 Batz, along the way accumulating over 200 million views. Sparta will distribute current and upcoming performances through DSPs as part of the partnership.
“Our distribution partnership means a lot to me and my team because it gives me the ability to continue pouring my resources into musicians across all genres,” says From The Block Performance founder Zae Williams. “I’m excited to see all of the new artists that will grow on our platform with our new partnership with Sparta, as their track record speaks for itself, and the connection just feels organic and shares the independent spirit.”

The distribution partnership is a win-win for both parties. By expanding into new territories like Japan and South Africa, From The Block will strengthen its international presence. Meanwhile, Sparta’s mission to champion “The New Independents” will be furthered, solidifying their position as a leading force in modern distribution.
Launched in 2021 by 300’s Kevin Liles and Rob Stevenson,Sparta Distribution aims to help unsigned artists with a DIY approach and offers “a seat at the table, this new distribution platform gives them their own table.” They also desire to “empower independent artists around the world to plug into two of 300’s core values: speed and flexibility.”
“We don’t just see this as a game-changing moment for 300,” they said three years ago. “It’s a game-changer for the music industry.”
