David Beckham looks tiny as Veronika Rajek wears plunging outfit at F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix

David Beckham and Veronika Rajek were among the celebrities in attendance at the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix on Sunday.

Beckham looked suave in a white shirt as he stood next to basketball icon Shaquille O’Neal on the red carpet.

The former Manchester United and England star was dwarfed by O’Neal, who dressed casually with a black jacket and grey trousers.

Influencer Rajek left little to the imagination, wearing a plunging outfit while she posed for pictures.

Usain Bolt was spotted arriving in Vegas too, while Gordon Ramsey – a close friend of Beckham’s – was caught on camera as well.

Another former footballer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, watched the action unfold.

The veteran retired from the sport last year after a glittering playing career that saw him have spells with giants such as United, Barcelona, AC Milan and Inter Milan.

But while celebrities flocked to Vegas to attend the event, it wasn’t the success organisers had hoped for.

Ticket sales have disappointed, with plenty still on sale on Ticketmaster prior to the race.

Race CEO Renee Wilm had promised that all tickets would be sold when speaking earlier this month.

However, his prediction appears to have failed.

Tickets for the race were originally put on sale 12 months ago, with the cheapest costing $500.

Locals from Nevada were later offered a limited number starting at a cheaper $200.

Meanwhile, Max Verstappen won the race in Sin City – with Red Bull securing their 20th triumph of the season so far.

The team could yet extend that winning run at the Abu Dhabi GP next weekend.

And Verstappen was delighted at securing glory, with the 26-year-old simply too hot for his rivals to handle.

“It was a tough one. I tried to go for it at the start,” the three-time World Champion said.

“We (himself and Charles Leclerc) both braked quite late and I just ran out of grip, so we ended up a bit wide.

“The stewards gave me a penalty for that and it put us on the back foot.

“I had to pass quite a few cars and there was the Safety Car, so at that point there was a lot going on.

“Then we went flat out. I had to pass a few cars to get into the battle with them.

“The DRS around here was very powerful. Even when you would take the lead, if the guy behind stays in the DRS, he would still have the opportunity to come back to you, so it created a lot of good racing today.

“Definitely a lot of fun.”

Lewis Hamilton, who finished seventh, admitted he found the race challenging.

“A really challenging race,” he stated.

“I started on the hard tyre which was tricky at the beginning.

Usain Bolt

“I got a big hit from someone behind, I think it was Carlos [Sainz], and tried to not hit the cars that had spun around. I fell back five or six places.

“Then after that just making my way back. I was feeling great, the tyres were feeling good, the pace was strong.

“I went up the inside of Piastri, I don’t really know exactly what happened, I obviously got the hit from behind. I think it was a racing incident.”
