Conor McGregor reveals major personal news amid ‘scapegoat’ fears following Dublin riots

Conor McGregor has announced the imminent birth of his fourth child amid his ongoing criticism of Leo Varadkar.

The UFC icon has been in the spotlight over the past week amid riots in Dublin.

Protestors took to the streets after a man went on an unprovoked stabbing spree outside a school.

A woman, a man and three children were injured in the horrific attack – with a five-year-old girl still in hospital.

Riots erupted amid initial claims the suspect was a non-Irish citizen. It has since been confirmed the man suspected of carrying out the attack is an Irish citizen who has been in the country for 20 years, though wasn’t born there.

McGregor has repeatedly taken aim at Varadkar and accused the Irish Prime Minister of not doing enough to sort the situation out.

Yet he’s now taken a break from criticising the Taoiseach to announce the imminent birth of his fourth child.

“Up early tomorrow to bring our new baby boy in to this world, say a prayer for us!” he said while posing with fiancee Dee Devlin.

“Let’s go Mammy.”

Fans reacted to the post on X, sending messages of support to McGregor and Devlin.

“Wishing her a healthy delivery!” said one user.

“God bless the McGregor family,” said a second.

A third stated: “How exciting!! congratulations to you and your family.”

“Here’s to hoping for a healthy baby with no complications for anyone,” a fourth said.

And a fifth said: “Peace to you and your family. Congratulations in advance!”

Meanwhile, regarding the Dublin riots, McGregor fears he’s being made a scapegoat by Irish officials.

“Truth they don’t want to speak. Attempt to scapegoat me all you wish,” he said.

“If it makes you feel better, I will take it.

“The truth of the many failed policies of this government however, will never stop being the reason we have innocent children in hospital on life support after being stabbed by a deranged criminal, and whose current conditions are being hid from the public.

“Shame on government and those harboring this and trying to avert from the causes of this. Shame!”

McGregor has also insisted he doesn’t condone the riots – while insisting Ireland needs to be protected.

“I do not condone last nights riots. I do not condone any attacks on our first responders in their line of duty,” he said.

“I do not condone looting and the damaging of shops. Last nights scenes achieved nothing toward fixing the issues we face.

“I do understand frustrations however, and I do understand a move must be made to ensure the change we need is ushered in. And fast!

“I am in the process of arranging. Believe me I am way more tactical and I have backing.

“There will be change in Ireland, mark my words. The change needed.

“In the last month, innocent children stabbed leaving school. Ashling Murphy murdered. Two Sligo men decapitated.

“This is NOT Ireland’s future! If they do not act soon with their plan of action to ensure Ireland’s safety, I will.”

McGregor and Devlin currently have three children together.

His first son, Conor Jr, was born in May 2017 – with daughter Croai coming in January 2019.

His second son, Rian, was born in May 2021.
