The 22-year-old England international converted two crucial spot-kicks to set a new Premier League record of 12 successful penalties from 12 attempts.

Palmer’s first penalty came after Yves Bissouma fouled Moises Caicedo, with the forward sending Fraser Forster the wrong way to level the score at 2-2.
The spot-kick saw him equal Yaya Toure’s Premier League record of 11 successful penalties without missing.
More significantly, his goal marked his 37th Premier League contribution of the calendar year, breaking Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s long-standing Chelsea record.
The Dutchman’s mark had stood since 2001, during a spell where he scored 69 goals and provided 29 assists in 136 appearances for the Blues.
Palmer’s overall record for Chelsea now stands at an impressive 57 goal contributions in 62 matches across all competitions.
