Clarkson’s Farm star Lisa Hogan drops huge update on series future amid fears Jeremy may sell farm

Lisa Hogan has taken to social media to address a number of fans’ queries about the future of Amazon Prime’s record-breaking series, Clarkson’s Farm.

The hit series has been marred by speculation that the upcoming third season could be its last thanks to Amazon’s reaction to Clarkson’s now-famous Meghan Markle column and the fact the former Top Gear star has contemplated selling up Diddly Squat.

However, reports emerged last month that appeared to all but confirm Amazon had performed a U-turn on Clarkson’s Farm and that a fourth season was indeed in the pipeline.

And now Hogan appears to have rubbished any fears that season three of Clarkson’s Farm could be the final one – although it is worth noting that neither Amazon nor Clarkson have officially confirmed season four has been greenlit.

Hogan sparked excitement among Clarkson’s Farm’s fanbase as she shared a snap from Diddly Squat of Clarkson, Kaleb Cooper and the Amazon crew filming scenes from his office.

Firstly dropping an update on how filming for season three is going, Hogan penned: “Penultimate week [filming emoji] #clarksonsfarm #tractor #amazonprime.”

With just a few days of filming left, it didn’t take long for fans to flood the comments section with their questions about the show’s future.

“When is season 3 being aired?” one Instagram user wrote, to which Hogan shared her insight: “Once they edit!”

Another fan simply encapsulated the question that is on every Clarkson’s Farm fan’s lips: “And season 4??”

Hogan appeared to confirm plans were in place as she replied simply with an emoji of a hand performing an “OK” gesture.

“Hopefully not the penultimate week of the penultimate season,” another concerned fan asked, to which Hogan again allayed any fears as she replied: “…nope.”

Elsewhere, another of Hogan’s followers was in disbelief at just how many people were involved in the project as they weighed in: “I never would thought it was so many people! They do a great job with the show!!”

“Not even half the crew…” Hogan teased – a surprise given Cooper and Clarkson are relatively crammed into the office thanks to the number of crew members in the snap.

The latest update from Hogan comes following the nervy news that Clarkson has openly admitted to contemplating selling up the farm for good.

The Grand Tour star – who recently shared an update alongside Richard Hammond and James May from filming the latest special – has faced a tumultuous time since he took over the running of the farm, making measly profits and being plagued with weather issues and governmental red tape.

Explaining his thinking, he penned in his Sunday Times column: “I’ve tried farming conventionally and it didn’t work.

“I’ve tried diversifying and that hasn’t really worked either. And I’ve tried with sheep and pigs and cows and that has been a bit of a disaster as well.

“So I arrived at a crossroads and was not sure which way to turn…I could sell the farm, but I like having it and for very good reasons.

“There are no death duties on farmland, so my children like me having it too. This means I have to hang on to it, but what then? Do nothing? That would be heartbreaking.”
