“With a population of approximately 800,000, it ranks as Spain’s third-largest city.

“Nestled along the eastern coast, it boasts a thriving port area and a picturesque beach that stretches for miles.”

A family of four estimated monthly costs are around £1,950 before rent, according to numbeo.

Valencia is the third most populated municipality in Spain and there is lots to do in the area.

Britons can visit museums and galleries, go to the stunning beach or enjoy the nightlife.

Before moving, an expat shared a word of warning.

They said expats may “not get the time of day” from locals if they struggle with the language.
