Each participating venue offers something different. Alton Towers features the newly launched Toxicator alongside its renowned 14-loop rollercoaster. Thorpe Park boasts Hyperia, Britain’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster, plus water attractions including Tidal Wave.
Chessington combines wildlife encounters with family-friendly rides such as Mandrill Mayhem and The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure. LEGOLAND Windsor has water-based attractions like Drench Towers and Splash Safari, alongside Minifigure Speedway, the world’s first LEGO duelling rollercoaster.
Senior vice president and managing director for Merlin Entertainments UK, Sabrina de Carvalho, said: “We know how much families value quality time together over the summer, and ‘Twice the Fun’ is our way of making those magical moments go even further.
“With two visits for the price of one, it’s double the fun, double the laughs, packed with thrills, chills and smiles for miles.”
Visitors can experience record-breaking rollercoasters, animal encounters featuring over 1,000 creatures at Chessington, and water-based adventures suitable for various age groups.
