As one of the sunniest spots among the British isles, Jersey has become a quintessentially British holiday destination.
The islands’ diverse attractions and natural beauty have made it a popular hot stop for short breaks and romantic getaways.
Travellers will soon be able to reach the holiday hotspot using Britsh Airways’ services after the airline announced it will return to short-haul flying from London Gatwick to the British island this year.
The UK’s flag carrier will reimplement flights from Jersey to London Gatwick from May 23rd, offering four services per week during the summer 2024 schedule.

The route initially stopped during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The flights will initially operate on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but additional services could come into effect in July.
British Airways will use a combination of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft with economic and Club Europe business class cabins. Return flights are from £72 and are available to book online.
The airline states: “The new services will increase the Channel connectivity to […] London and British Airways’ extensive global network.”
The restored services will be additional to existing routes from London Heathrow to Jersey, which will increase in frequency, running up to five times per day.
It comes as the airline announced earlier this year that it would restore it would provide more routes from Spain to UK airports.
The airline said: “British Airways has announced the launch of various long-haul and short-haul routes from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Edinburgh for 2024.
“In addition, the national flag carrier is returning to Ldonon Stansted for the first time since the pandemic and it continues to increase the choice available to its customers globally.”
