British Airways has launched its huge, new Christmas menu to passengers travelling on the airline over the festive period.
The seasonal offerings are part of British Airways’ British Original Christmas celebrations for 2024, featuring bespoke menus across their London Heathrow and Gatwick operations.
In British Airways’ lounges at Heathrow and Gatwick, passengers will be offered a special winter picnic menu featuring mince pies and brie and cranberry sandwiches.
There are also pop-up Christmas stalls showcasing British brands, with Harry Specters and The Cocobean Company chocolates in Club lounges, and Biscuiteers’ hand-piped treats in the Concorde Room.

A complimentary gift-wrapping service, complete with specially designed snowflake paper will be available too for first lounge visitors.
British Airways’ new onboard menu features traditional British turkey dinner with all trimmings, plus vegetarian options on selected long-haul routes.
Chief Customer Officer at British Airways, Calum Laming said: “Christmas is such a special time, and this year is no different. We want to make it truly special, so we have pulled out all the stops to spread some cheer and create a truly British Original Christmas.
“To our customers, wherever you are travelling and however you may celebrate, we hope that you enjoy our extra touches throughout your journey this festive season delivered by our incredible colleagues.”
Between December 24 to 26, British Airways expects to connect passengers to 150 destinations on over 900 flights.
The airline expects to serve more than 250,000 turkey dinners across its routes during the festive period, as well as, over 700,000 Brussels sprouts and 40,000 pigs in blankets to passengers.
For customers travelling on short-haul flights, the airline is offering festive food through its High Life Café.
Tom Kerridge’s ultimate turkey feast sandwich, The Jolly Hog pigs in blankets roll and sweet treats from Pullins Bakery are all on the menu.
A variety of drinks are available for customers including Brewdogs Elf lager and Bottlegreen Edwards Vodka Raspberry Spritz.

Economy class passengers will receive Christmas hats with their meals between December 15 to 27, alongside festive cutlery packs.
The airline’s youngest travellers can have chocolate treats and Peggy and Leon activity sheets. Children can post letters to Santa through a special North Pole letterbox in Heathrow Terminal 5 lounges.
First Class passengers travelling between December 23 and 25 will receive a hand-painted bauble commemorating 100 years of flights to India, alongside festive Temperley London amenity kits.
The festive news comes as British Airways expands its routes to Italy.
