The new year is here and it’s not too early to start planning this year’s getaway.
Britons need not travel far for a perfect holiday as there are lots of spots for a relaxing break in the UK.
New research found the best spots for a “grounding” – or relaxing – holiday.
Factors like population density, air pollution levels and noise pollution were considered in the research by Park Holidays.
Research found Cornwall is a great place for a break

Northumberland took the number one spot for where to visit this year.
It was the lowest for noise pollution and the second highest for air quality.
This was followed by the Isle of Wight, which boasts a small population and low noise pollution.
Experts at Park Holidays said: “These picturesque locations offer a serene escape from city life, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in tranquil surroundings and rejuvenate.”
