There are lots of beautiful places to visit in the UK whether looking for a staycation or simply wanting a day trip.

The 10 best places have been shared, with some stunning spots on the list.


The list ranges from historical villages to peaceful country destinations.

The Cotswolds took the number one spot, according to the study by Expatica.

Beautiful spots across Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales made it onto the list.

Skye ranked the highest for Scotland, Causeway Coast was the best in Ireland and Snowdonia made the list for Wales.

The Cotswolds has lots of rural walks and cosy British pubs.

It is home to Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens which has garnered lots of positive reviews on Tripadvisor.

One visitor penned: “Absolutely brilliant… The animals are so close, fantastic day.”

Another said: “An excellent family day out and great value for money.

“The park was amazing the children were entertained for well over an hour. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and it’s great value for money.”

One more said: “Beautiful park gardens and animals, no queues, no stress, lovely place, dog friendly and great for families.”

If looking to go further afield, easyJet has launched 12 new routes to Europe.

These will be available next year from eight UK airports.
