It’s not too late for Britons to book this year’s summer holiday and an Asian destination has been named as the best place to go.
According to a new study, Bali is the most beautiful vacation destination, receiving an almost picture-perfect score of 9.06 on the “picturesque” scale.
Bali, Indonesia has received a whopping 518,200 Google searches, 72,643,695 Instagram hashtags and 5,400,000 TikTok hashtags, according to a photography expert at Level Frames.
They said: “Bali tops the list with a score of 9.06/10. The Indonesian province has become increasingly popular in recent years, with over 5.2 million international tourists estimated to have visited in 2023.

“It is well-known for its intricate temples, lush greenery and stunning beaches.”
Bali is home to some incredible natural beauty. Holidaymakers can explore Kelingking Beach, which one Tripadvisor reviewer called a “top location”, while another rejoiced at its “immaculate views”.
Jatiluwih Green Land is another “amazing place” to visit, “just kilometres of rice paddies and terraces”.
One visitor said: “You can walk around the terraces and around the rice fields, there is a paved walking track for cyclists. It is a truly amazing sight and well worth the trip up there.”
Sekumpul Waterfall is also a must-see in Bali, with one visitor calling it a “once-in-a-lifetime experience they could not recommend more”.

The capital of France is home to the world-famous Eiffel Tower. One visitor to the landmark called it a “fantastic experience”, while another recounted “breathtaking views”.
In Madrid, Parque del Retiro is a “must-see”. A visitor said: “You could easily spend the whole day walking around, admiring the lake, the landscape and the birds. The [Glass] Palace is beautiful and I was surprised to discover there are parakeets in Madrid.”
Amsterdam is home to some idyllic neighbourhoods, including The Jordaan. Enjoy a stroll down “charming” streets and “picturesque” canals.
