ITV’s Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley are soon set to start their new gig presenting This Morning – but it seems not many have faith in their pairing.
Shephard has been a staple presenter on Good Morning Britain since 2014 and co-hosted alongside Kate Garraway and Susanna Reid.
Deeley has spent a lot of her career in America but recently came back to the UK and presented the ITV chat show alongside Rylan Clark as a stand-in presenter.
Whilst many have been excited to see Shephard and Deeley together to hosting the show, it seems bookmakers have tipped the duo not lasting very long.
Instantcasino.com have given the pair odds of 7/4 of only lasting under one year at the helm of the popular ITV show.
One to three years inclusive stand at 2/1, over two years at 4/5 and over three years standing at 6/4 – not leaving their partnership in good stead.
Fans were devastated that Gibson or Hammond didn’t get the stint

A spokesperson for instantcasino.com said: “Our traders think that the new ‘This Morning’ pairing (replacing Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby) will last around the 2 year mark as a hosting partnership.
“You can get Evens on them lasting 2 years or under if you think it’s doomed from the start. If you think they could be a long standing duo then you can get 6/4 on them lasting beyond 3 years.”
Since the announcement of Shephard and Deeley’s arrival, many have wondered who will be permanently taking over from the long-standing presenter on GMB.
One name that seems to be the front-runner is Adil Ray, after he was tipped at replacing Shephard with odds of 5/2.

Ed Balls and Rylan Clark were also thrown into the race as they followed closely behind with offs of 4/1.
After Holly Willoughby stepped down from her role back in October 2023, many wondered whether Alison Hammond or Josie Gibson would be stepping in permanently.
Hammond was at the centre of her own controversy when it was announced she would be the new host of For The Love of Dogs – but still remains host on the Friday slot.
Gibson covered many episodes but when Deeley was appointed, fans were left upset and disappointed for the presenter.

However, the news didn’t appear to stunt Gibson’s mood as she took to her Instagram and said: “I feel a work part coming on!!!” alongside a series of love heart emojis.
There has still been plenty of support for ITV’s appointment of Deeley and Shephard, with many looking forward to their debut together.
