Adam Brooks has suggested there is a “cult” working against Nigel Farage during his stint in the I’m a Celeb jungle.

It comes amid reports ITV staff are “torn” over the GB News presenter’s screen time, with some said to be uncomfortable.

The Sun claims I’m a Celeb producers have been forced to weigh up Nigel’s star factor alongside their own beliefs.

Publican Adam Brooks has hit out at reports, suggesting it “doesn’t matter” what happens in the jungle as “Remainiacs” will always side with those opposing Farage.

“It doesn’t matter what Nella or anyone else says to him”, he said.

“You’ve got these crazy Remainiacs who will back anything that goes against him. It’s almost like a cult.”

A source told The Sun: The crew are feeling torn. They’re all professionals and everyone can recognise Farage makes great telly but, of course, many harbour their own opinions on Brexit and immigration.”

The ITV told The Sun: “It is always our intention to broadcast a show that is a fair and accurate representation of life in camp for all our celebrities.”

It comes as Nigel’s campmate Nella Rose confronted him over his political beliefs.

Rose, who sparked furore online after declaring she is “not friends” with Fred Sirieix, drew herself into the spotlight yet again as she questioned why “everyone hates” the GB News star.

Confronting Nigel, she said: “Let’s get everything out in the open. All the tea is coming out now… apparently you’re anti-immigrant?”

Shrugging off the comment, he replied: “If you came with me through South London, you’d be astonished.”

Nella responded: “So everyone hates you for no reason? Not that everyone hates you, that was bad. Sorry.”

“You disagree with somebody, but to chuck around accusation the way they’ve been doing so is unfair”, Nigel said.

“All I’ve said is we cannot go on with the numbers coming to Britain that are coming.”
