British Airways has suspended flights to and from Israel after its crew were caught up in a ballistic missile strike on Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport.
The airline has cancelled all services until tomorrow following the attack on Sunday.
The missile was fired by Iran-backed Houthi rebels from Yemen.
Six people were injured in the strike that targeted Israel’s main international airport.

BA crew members who were staying in Tel Aviv between flights have been moved from the area.
They were later flown to Vienna, Austria, as a precautionary measure.
One stewardess expressed relief after leaving the area, stating: “We’re all glad to be out of there.”
The suspension affects all British Airways flights to and from Tel Aviv up to and including flight BA405 on Wednesday, 7 May.
BA issued a statement emphasising their commitment to passenger and staff welfare.

“The safety and security of our customers and crew is always our priority,” a spokesman said.
“We continually monitor operating conditions and have made the decision to suspend all our flights to and from Tel Aviv.”
The carrier apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused by the disruption.
This is not the first time BA has halted its Israel service in recent months.

The airline had previously paused flights between Tel Aviv and London last October.
Service was only resumed on April 5, just one month before this latest incident.
The Foreign Office said that it is up to individual airlines to ensure the safety of their flights.
British Airways has confirmed that all affected flights will be suspended “up to and including BA405 on Wednesday, 7 May.”
