Sir Rod Stewart has delivered another scathing insult towards former MasterChef host Gregg Wallace during a night out at London’s Claridges.

The 79-year-old rock legend was asked on Thursday evening whether he would consider inviting Wallace to Christmas dinner.

Stewart’s blunt response to the photographers was simply: “What, yellow teeth?”

The comment came as the veteran singer was leaving the prestigious Mayfair establishment, the Daily Mail reports.

This latest jibe marks the second time in just over a week that Stewart has publicly criticised Wallace, who recently stepped down from his role on MasterChef.

The exchange occurred mere hours after new allegations emerged regarding Wallace’s past conduct on television shows.

Last week, Stewart launched his initial attack on Wallace through social media, posting a strongly-worded message on Instagram.

“Good riddance Wallace… You humiliated my wife when she was on the show, but you had that bit cut out didn’t you? You’re a tubby, bald-headed, ill-mannered bully. Karma got ya. Sir Rod Stewart,” wrote the musician.

The heated criticism stemmed from Wallace’s treatment of Stewart’s wife, Penny Lancaster, during her appearance on Celebrity MasterChef in 2021.

Lancaster, who reached the quarter-final of the competition, was reportedly left in tears after Wallace’s harsh criticism.

The incident centred around timing issues with Lancaster’s dish, with Wallace declaring at the time: “Mate, we can’t be 10 minutes late.”

The MasterChef host had deemed the delay “serious” and refused to eat her food.

Wallace’s departure from MasterChef was announced last Thursday, as an investigation into allegations of misconduct began.

Production company Banijay UK released a statement confirming they had received complaints about historical allegations involving Wallace.

“Whilst these complainants have not raised the allegations directly with our show producers or parent company Banijay UK, we feel that it is appropriate to conduct an immediate, external review,” the company stated.

The statement confirmed Wallace would be “stepping away from his role on MasterChef” during the investigation.

Banijay UK emphasised their commitment to staff duty of care, noting that multiple ways of raising concerns are promoted on set.

Wallace’s legal team has strongly denied any inappropriate behaviour, stating: “It is entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature.”

The investigation follows complaints from individuals regarding Wallace’s conduct spanning multiple shows.

The claims span a 17-year period from 2005 to 2022, involving five different shows and 13 individuals, including Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark.

Recent accusations include claims of groping, pressing his crotch against a colleague, and allegedly flashing another woman in his dressing room.

A separate incident from 2012 at the BBC Good Food Show has also come to light, involving a British Sign Language interpreter at Birmingham’s NEC Arena.

An attendee claimed Wallace asked the interpreter if she had to sign everything he said, before proceeding to make her sign phrases like “big boobs” and “sexy bum”.

“It was like he could control her, I suppose,” the attendee told reporters about the incident.

Wallace’s ghostwriter, Shannon Kyle, has also made accusations against the star while speaking to Victoria Derbyshire on NewsNight.
