Poor weather conditions may cause travel disruptions for holidaymakers in the north of England today.

Ryanair warns those flying to or departing from Manchester to check for regular updates on their flights.

A statement confirmed the “potential disruptions” have been caused by fog today.

It said: “Affected passengers will be notified and any passengers travelling to/from Manchester on Tuesday 3 December should check their Ryanair app for the latest updates on their flight.

“We regret any inconvenience caused to passengers by these weather conditions, which are outside of Ryanair’s control and affect all airlines operating to/from Manchester Tuesday 3 December.”

Travellers will be told of any changes to their flights, but they can find out more on the Ryanair app.

This is not the only airport facing disruptions this week, as Jet2 shared a word of warning with passengers visiting Poland.

It confirmed flights to and from Glasgow, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle were impacted.

The airline continued: “Unfortunately, due to the adverse weather yesterday the following flights will now operate today – Tuesday 3 December 2024.

“If you are due to travel to/from Krakow Airport today our team will be in contact with you via SMS/Email to make sure you have the most up-to-date information regarding your flight.

“Please ensure that your details are correct in ‘manage my booking’ so that you receive these updates.

“Further information will be sent individually to all customers, this will also be available by putting your flight details above on this page of our website.”

It stressed the disruptions were outside its control but customers could find out more in airports from members of staff.

Jet2 continued: “Whilst this is completely outside of our control, our operations team are doing everything they can to minimise disruption as much as they possibly can.

“If you are at the airport and require any further assistance, please speak to a member of the Jet2.com Red Team in the terminal. We will have you on the way as soon as we can.”
