A food festival organiser has alleged that Gregg Wallace made a series of “crude” sexual comments towards her at an event in Bolton five years ago.

The foodie claims she had to deal with the 60-year-old’s “lewd, inappropriate, and slimy comments” all day.

The organiser, named Donna Ball, said she considered Wallace’s behaviour: “Undermining, mean and degrading’ towards women.”

Speaking to MailOnline, Ball explained that she was astonished by his attitude – which she described as: “Nothing short of Neanderthal.”

Wallace did not cease his “crude humour from the days of Carry On films” throughout the day, it is understood.

Ball also said she was the recipient of lewd remarks, as the 60-year-old allegedly directed several inappropriate cooking puns towards her.

“I bet your husband likes your rack,” Wallace allegedly said about cooking a rack of lamb – with the body part double entendre made very clear to Ball.

In another comment, the grocer-turned-broadcaster reportedly said: “I bet your husband has no problems in that department” while talking about bread dough rising.

The crude reference to arousal was not lost on the “uncomfortable” Ball.

She added: “On and on it went in a boorish, blokey wink-wink fashion all day.”

Location, Location, Location presenter Allsopp revealed on Monday that Wallace: “Told me of a sex act that he & his partner at the time enjoyed ‘every morning’.”

The 60-year-old allegedly described his spouse to Ball as a “proper wife” because she was “only focused on his needs and wants.”

Ball said Wallace declared that his wife would be waiting for him after the festival to provide: “Whatever service he wanted.”

Early Monday morning, Wallace published a defiant story on Instagram dismissing the accusers who had come forward as: “a handful of middle-class women of a certain age”.

Later, he posted a second video claiming the number of staff, from across his 20-year career, who had made complaints about him was: “Absolutely none. Zero. Seriously.”

The 60-year-old, visibly choked with emotion, insisted: “Look, this is important to me.”

Wallace stepped-back from his role as a presenter and judge on MasterChef this week after several allegations that he made sexual comments towards celebrity guests and show staff emerged.

The former grocer’s lawyers have previously said: “It is entirely false that he (Wallace) engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature.”

However, MasterChef production company Banijay UK has “committed to fully co-operating throughout the process” and called on anyone who has a complaint against Wallace to come forward.
