Manchester United drew 1-1 with Ipswich Town in Ruben Amorim’s first match as manager on Sunday.
The Red Devils took the lead through Marcus Rashford in just the 2nd minute, with the England international converting after some good work from Amad Diallo.
But Ipswich secured a point through Omari Hutchinson, with the Tractor Boys star’s curling effort deflecting off Noussair Mazraoui and into the net.
GB News now takes a look at four things we learnt from the clash at Portman Road.

For years, it’s been tough to see what Rashford’s best position is.
But with the United star unleashed as a No 9, the role he first occupied when he burst onto the scene under Louis van Gaal all the way back in 2016, he immediately found the net.
Rashford’s overall performance didn’t set the world alight but it’s still something that bodes well, with the 27-year-old not yet written off.
It will be a tough ask to keep his spot up top, especially with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee pushing for regular game time.
But Rashford has silenced a few of his critics with his goal today.

Amad can be a right wing-back
It was always going to be interesting to see who started at right wing-back for United at Portman Road.
And Amorim decided to go with Amad Diallo, with the Ivory Coast international justifying his selection by providing the assist for Rashford’s goal.
The winger possesses talent in abundance and this role, it seems, could belong to him going forward.
Certainly, United fans will be hoping the former Atalanta star finally gets regular game time having been so often overlooked by Erik ten Hag.

Plenty of work for United to do
While there were some encouraging signs for United, it’s still abundantly clear plenty of work needs to be done in order for them to be Premier League title contenders.
Their lack of cutting edge remains a problem, with the club lacking somebody with the same ruthless streak as the likes of Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah.
And United still look vulnerable at the back, despite Amorim going with his trusted 3-4-3 formation.
It will take time – and Amorim may need it.
