Andrew Tate has launched a staunch defence of Jake Paul after the 27-year-old beat Mike Tyson in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Paul was widely criticised for agreeing to the bout given Tyson is 31 years his senior at the age of 58.
And the former YouTube and Disney star took full advantage of his opponent’s age, with Paul winning via unanimous decision.
In the short time since the showdown at the AT&T Stadium, Paul has been widely condemned by many figures associated with the sport.

Though some believe he showed respect to Tyson but not KO’ing the veteran, others believe the clash was a farce right from the start.
Tate, however, believes the younger fighter does deserve some credit because he makes fans ‘care’ about boxing – while also saying he’ll make more money than other competitors as a result.
“Jake’s an okay guy. He’s putting boxing on the map to be fair to him,” he said.
“To be fair to the guy, he can sell tickets. I mean nobody, and this is with all due respect, should give a s**t about watching a 60-year-old fight a 27-year-old, but Jake can make them care.

“I think if this arrest didn’t happen, it probably would have come to flourish.
“We will see what happens in the future, we will see perhaps, it’s possible, there’s nothing no, there’s nothing yes.
“We will see, I will skip this matrix attack and perhaps if he (Jake) needs to be taught a lesson, I will be the guy to teach him.”
While Paul deserved his win, his decision not to knock Tyson out has raised eyebrows.

He bowed to his opponent just seconds before the bout came to an end and has since revealed he didn’t want to ‘hurt’ Tyson, who had the backing of the crowd.
“Yeah definitely [took my foot off the gas],” Paul said at the post-fight press conference.
“Definitely a bit. I wanted to give the fans a show but I didn’t want to hurt someone that didn’t need to be hurt.”
Tyson looked a pale imitation of the man that dominated boxing during the 1980s and 1990s.

Paul continued: “[I carried him] a little bit.
“There was a point where I was just like he’s not really engaging back and I don’t know if he’s tired or whatever.
“I could just tell his age was showing a little bit.
“I just have so much respect for him and that violence/war thing between us, after he slapped me I wanted to be aggressive and take him down and knock him out and all that stuff but that kind of went away as the rounds went on.”
