According to the Daily Express, the accusation comes from West’s former assistant Lauren Pisciotta. She claimed that she met West after he invited her musician client to a studio session, and subsequently to a party hosted by Combs. During this party, Pisciotta alleged that West drugged and raped her.
The rapper allegedly insisted everyone at the party have a drink and stay. But after a few sips, Pisciotta claimed she began to feel “disoriented.”
“She felt less in control of her body and speech, and that is where [her] memories of the night escape her,” the lawsuit stated. Pisciotta was reportedly “too traumatized and disturbed to speak about that night” and remained silent about the event.
West later confessed to these actions when he discussed the aforementioned party shortly before firing Pisciotta in November 2022, according to her attorney. This followed a remark made by West’s former wife, whose identity remains undisclosed in the filing, regarding an alleged affair between the rapper and his former assistant.
Pisciotta expressed a desire to contact West’s former wife, something the rapper forbade due to the events at the party. According to the former assistant, West told his ex-wife that they “hooked up.” Pisciotta contended that she was drugged at the time and had no recollection of the evening, something West laughed upon. West has not yet responded to Pisciotta’s latest allegations.
Not the first time Pisciotta took Kanye West to court
This was not the first time Pisciotta took her former boss to court. In June, she sued West for breach of contract, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and a hostile work environment. According to her initial lawsuit, West sent her text messages with sexually charged language and even sent her pornographic videos sometime after she was hired in 2021.
West previously refuted the claims in Pisciotta’s initial lawsuit, with his lawyer dismissing them as “baseless.” The rapper’s legal counsel also accused the former assistant of “blackmail and extortion.” However according to the Express, Pisciotta updated the original June lawsuit to include these new allegations.
Pisciotta’s new allegations also come amid the legal battle faced by Combs, the organizer of the party where Pisciotta was allegedly drugged and abused. Federal agents arrested Combs in September, and he was subsequently indicted for sex trafficking. A New York judge thrice denied his requests for bail, ordering him to be jailed at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn.
According to his indictment, Diddy staged so-called “freak-off” parties involving both male and female sex workers that he recorded for blackmail purposes. A raid by federal agents in his homes in California and Florida revealed various paraphernalia for these parties, including more than 200 cameras and 1,000 bottles of baby oil.
Later, Houston-based lawyer Tony Buzbee of The Buzbee Law Firm announced that 120 victims are planning to take Combs to court. According to the attorney, some of the rap mogul’s victims were minors – with the youngest victim aged nine at the time of the abuse. Buzbee and attorney Andrew Van Larsdale of the AVA Law Group would represent the victims in court in individual lawsuits.
