Today, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays launched their first flights to Morocco, giving Britons the opportunity to explore a new destination “as a fantastic escape from the gloomy UK weather”.
The new routes to Agadir and Marrakech from multiple UK airports offer year-round availability, catering to the growing demand for cultural destinations and “guaranteed sunshine”.
The inaugural flights to Agadir took off on October 3 from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted and Manchester. Additional services from Bristol and Glasgow will launch in the coming weeks.
Marrakech routes are launching from Birmingham, Manchester and London Stansted on October 4, with Glasgow following suit in November.

The expansion to Morocco is part of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ largest-ever programme for Summer 26, as the airline with launch weekly flights to Agadir from East Midlands and Newcastle Airports.
The new routes offer year-round options, with flights available for Winter 24/25, Summer 25 and Winter 25/26.
This extensive programme provides customers and independent travel agents with increased choice and flexibility for Moroccan getaways.
Jet2 said: “Agadir is dotted with a choice of hotels, waterparks and incredible bars and restaurants. Its 9km-long stretch of golden sand sparkles along the country’s West coast, ideal for days spent lazing by the Atlantic.
“For a culture fix, holidaymakers can discover Agadir’s souks, minarets and tea cafes, as well as venturing to the laidback fishing village of Taghazout.
“Customers heading to Marrakech can soak up the buzz of the city or relax in its enticing suburbs. Sightseers and sun-seekers will fall in love with Marrakech’s labyrinth streets winding between iconic terracotta architecture.
