Singer Adele confirmed her engagement to Rich Paul on Friday evening as she flashed a diamond ring following wide-spread speculation the pair had “secretly” become fiances.
The 36-year-old told fans she was “getting married” to the Klutch Sports Group founder as she addressed an audience at the 80,000-seat venue in Munich.
The Hello singer has been dating Paul, 42, since 2021. The pair got engaged last month when he proposed in her hometown of Tottenham, North London, which was rumoured to have taken place but not officially confirmed.
Last week, the Someone Like You hit-maker hinted at her reported engagement as she began her residency in Munich.
Talking about her “personal life,” she told fans: “What’s going on in my personal life? Nothing because I’ve been getting ready for this.”
However, speculation that the couple already secretly got married has been rife for months. However, it’s not understood Paul subtly asked her to be his wife during the trip to London, reports The Sun.

The publication reports a sign in the crowd at her recent gig read “will you marry me?” to which the singer replied: “I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married!”
She then raised her hand to show the engagement ring and was met with screams and applause.
It comes just days after the singer-songwriter helped a couple to get engaged at one of her shows. She temporarily paused her gig so the crowd could observe the special moment.
The crowd’s focus turned to a couple standing on a barrier, with the man telling Adele he’d been with his partner for 17 years before he popped the question.
