Ibiza Airport has been closed because of a bomb alert after a man was removed from a Ryanair flight heading to Milan.
A false alarm led to normal operations being suspended for nearly an hour earlier this afternoon.
Some flights were diverted to separate destinations, including Palma Airport in Majorca.
The chaos comes as British holidaymakers continue to jet off to a number of locations, with Spain ranking as the UK’s top tourist destination.
