Rob McElhenney told American entertainment website Collider that the plan is to expand the stands at The Racecourse Ground to welcome between 45,000 and 55,000 people.
It currently has a capacity of 12,600 and as well as being the club’s home has also previously hosted performances by the likes of Stereophonics.
“The whole town could come to the game,” Reynolds joked in the interview.
Both McElhenney and Reynolds have been praised for putting Wrexham on the map, with a tourism chief claiming they have given the North Wales region a “£1bn boost”.
