Dancing on Ice fans were left reeling last weekend when Amber Davies appeared to fail to skate on her own – a factor that may have put her in the firing line for this weekend’s eliminations.
Last week, Davies and partner Simon Senecal performed to Abba’s Waterloo and managed to once again land near the top of the leaderboard.
However, for the second week running Davies and Sencal faced the skate-off after failing to impress viewers at home but were luckily saved by the judges.
After managing to escape two skate-offs by the skin of her teeth, it seems Davies’ luck has run out as bookmakers OLBG predict she will be leaving the show this weekend.
Davies’ chances of winning the series have been dealt a blow as her odds are currently sitting at 12/1.
At the other end of the table, her odds of being eliminated at the semi-final stage are at 5/6.
Last week she was slammed for not skating on her own

Entertainment betting expert Jack Ashton commented on the odds: “As the Dancing on Ice semi-final approaches, the competition is now starting to heat up.
“We can see over previous weeks, the odds and predictions surrounding who will win the show have been fluctuating as a number of celebrities continue to impress the judges week after week.
“Miles Nazaire is now the favourite to win Dancing on Ice after consistently impressing the judges with his skating skills and despite many believing she had a chance of winning the series herself, Amber Davies is tipped to be the next skater to be eliminated, after yet another appearance in the skate-off.
“Despite fluctuating odds and predictions, there have been a number of skaters who have been named among the favourites for prolonged periods of time.
Amber has hardly skated solo during the competition

“Celebrities including Miles Nazaire, Adele Roberts and Ryan Thomas continue to be fan favourites, so the competition remains wide open ahead of the semi-final next week.”
Last week, fans became annoyed with Davies after the judges advised her to skate more solo across the ice – something she failed to do.
After the Love Island star was saved by three out of the four judges, viewers were furious and claimed that the judges had already decided they wanted her in the final.
Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards lost out on the chance to skate again which irked fans further as they claimed he had a stronger skate, showing off his skills and skating by himself.
Amber Davies could be at risk from elimination this weekend

After noticing the backlash she had received online, Davies hit out on her Instagram and penned: “These comments are wild.
“I never in a million years thought I’d be a semi-finalist!! I couldn’t skate five months ago! Very proud of myself!! And so grateful for this whole experience.”
Davies won’t get away with not skating on her own this weekend as the remaining five celebrities will have to do a solo skate to win their place in the final.
