Crystal Palace are set to appoint Oliver Glasner as their new manager, with reports claiming the German has already signed a contract.
Roy Hodgson resigned as Palace boss on Monday afternoon and Glasner is set to come in as his replacement.
Former England boss Hodgson has stood down just days after he was admitted to hospital after falling in during a training session.
The 76-year-old’s contract was set to expire in the summer but he has chosen to bring forward his departure from Selhurst Park.

Hodgson confirmed that he has resigned in order to enable the Eagles to accelerate their plans for a new manager.
Palace had already been in discussions with Glasner and he is now widely expected to take the job at the south London club.
Fabrizio Romano claims that Glasner has already signed a contract to become Palace boss and he will take training on Tuesday.
Palace play a vital match away to fellow strugglers Everton this evening and Romano says Glasner will be in attendance.
Palace are currently 16th in the Premier League table, just five points clear of the relegation zone.
They have won just two of their last 15 matches in all competitions and fans have voiced their discontent towards the board at recent matches.
Glasner will be tasked with ensuring Palace remain in the top flight, taking charge of the final 13 matches of the season after tonight’s clash.
The Austrian started his managerial career with SV Ried before spending four years in charge at LASK.
Glasner moved into German football with Wolfsburg in 2019 before joining Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2021.
He led Frankfurt to Europa League glory in 2022, beating Rangers in the final, as well as reaching the final of the German Cup last year, where they lost to RB Leipzig.
Glasner left Frankfurt at the end of last season and has been out of work since.
Palace are yet to comment on the impending appointment but owner and chairman Steve Parish thanked Hodgson for his service in a statement on Monday.

Parish said: “Roy has a special place in Crystal Palace history and this will never be forgotten.
“After four years in which he led the club to maintaining Premier League status season after season, he once again joined us nearly a year ago to steady the ship, and worked wonders.
“That he then agreed to continue in the summer speaks volumes about his commitment to our club.
“Quite simply, we owe our continued Premier League status to Roy.

“I would like to thank Roy enormously for his service and wish him the very best for the future; it’s fair to say Roy has the keys to Selhurst Park and will always be welcomed back.
“On a personal note I would also like to thank Roy for his support, his professionalism and his friendship.
“He’s been the manager for half of the time we’ve been in the Premier League, I’ve enjoyed working with him and learning from him immensely.”
