The weather is warming up and many Britons will be keen to explore the natural beauty the UK has to offer.
Craster, Northumberland might just be the perfect spot for those who enjoy a scenic wander.
GO Outdoors shared 15 coastal walks to try in the UK, and Craster, Northumberland topped the list.
Experts at the outdoor store called this walk “easy”, meaning it’s suitable for walking novices and seasoned strollers alike.

The walking distance is 15.45km and takes approximately four hours and 15 minutes. However, those who want a quicker stroll can just do a portion of the walk.
The experts said: “The walk from the village of Craster to Low Newton takes in some of the picturesque coastlines in Northumberland.
“Along the route you’ll be met with the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle as well as the fantastic beach of Embleton Bay. Wildlife fans may also be interested in Newton Pool Nature Reserve en route.”

A visitor to Dunstanburgh Castle told Tripadvisor: “Great walk over to the castle, through the beautiful coastal countryside.
“The views are incredible and you can take your dog as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend.”
A visitor to Newton Pool Nature Reserve said it’s a “lovely way to spend a couple of hours”.
Another said it makes for “brilliant walks and birdwatching”. They said: “I have been there in spring, summer, autumn and winter and saw a variety of birds in the hide and on the walk in the reserve. Wrap up warm as it can get a cold breeze off the sea.”
North Devon provides another idyllic coastal walk with “fabulous views” and a “gem of a place” that’s “well worth it”.
