Travis Kelce has issued a public apology after he admitted he made a mistake in shoving and shouting in the face of coach Andy Reid at Super Bowl LVIII.
The NFL tight end was involved in a controversial moment in the second quarter against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
The Chiefs were trailing at the time and were struggling to get points on the board in their second successive appearance at the Super Bowl.
TV cameras picked up Kelce running at his coach and accidentally barging into him, knocking the 65-year-old off balance.

An aggressive Kelce shouted in a startled Reid’s face, an act which was condemned on social media by fans.
The 34-year-old, boyfriend of Taylor Swift, initially played down the incident after the Chiefs saw out a 25-22 win.
But he has now conceded he was wrong on his New Heights podcast with brother Jason, revealing he has spoken to Reid about it this week.
Kelce said: “As he said, I got him with a cheap shot. People are all over this and I get it.
“I can’t get that fired up to the point where I’m bumping coach and it’s getting him off balance and stuff.
“When he stumbled I was just like ‘Oh s**t’ in my head. It came in a moment when we weren’t playing very well and I wasn’t playing very well.
“We had to get some s**t going and sometimes those emotions get away from you. That’s been the battle of my career.
“Everybody else, I don’t give a s*** what anyone else says.
“I spoke to Coach Reid about it today and I couldn’t be more proud of being his product on the field.
“I couldn’t be more proud of where we’ve come as a team since I got here in 2013. I just love playing for the guy.
“Unfortunately my passion comes out where it looks like it’s negativity but I’m grateful that he knows that it’s because I want to win this thing, with him more than anything.
“It’s definitely unacceptable and I immediately wished I could have taken it back.”

Kelce has also revealed that Reid was not angry at the time of the incident.
He says the coach’s reaction inspired him to perform and lead his side to victory.
But Kelce still saw fit to apologise on the podcast, adding: “Coach Reid actually came right up to me after that and didn’t even have harsh words for me.
“I was ready to get a f*****g a** chewing and for him to tell me to just f*****g be better.

“He just let me know ‘Hey man, I love your passion, I’ve got cameras on me all over the place man’.
“It just fired me up even more to go out there and get the f*****g victory for him man.
“So, Big Red, sorry if I caught you with a cheap shot baby.”
