Biden-Harris campaign boasts BIGGEST war chest of any Democratic candidate in history

The Biden-Harris campaign has boasted that it has the biggest war chest of any Democratic candidate in history.

The campaign said on Jan. 15 that it has $117 million on hand. Campaign aides have described this substantial amount as the largest for any Democratic candidate in history at this point in the presidential race. The Democratic Party appears to be focused on efforts to re-elect President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris at all costs.

The campaign also mentioned that it raised more than $97 million in the fourth quarter of 2023. This total includes fundraising efforts by the campaign itself, joint fundraising committees and the Democratic National Committee. It stressed the importance of grassroots fundraising efforts for the said quarter and hailed the total amount as a historic achievement.

According to the campaign, 97 percent of donations in the aforementioned quarter were less than $200 – for an average of $41.88. Aides also noted that since the campaign’s launch, almost one million supporters have made contributions – for a total of more than 2.3 million contributions. Moreover, one-third of campaign donors are new since the 2020 campaign.

In the third quarter of 2023, the campaign raised more than $71 million and had almost $91 million cash on hand. In the second quarter of 2023, it raised more than $72 million in the second quarter of last year with $77 million cash on hand.

“The historic haul – proudly powered by strong and growing grassroots enthusiasm – sends a clear messages: Team Biden-Harris knows the states of this election and is ready to win this November,” campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said in a statement.

“Across our coalition, we are seeing early, sustained support that is helping us scale our growing operation across the country and take our message to the communities that will determine this election.” (Related: BOMBSHELL: Organization funding BLM, Antifa terrorism linked to Biden campaign.)

TJ Ducklo, the campaign’s senior adviser for communications, remarked: “While most of the Republicans have not yet announced their fundraising numbers, we fully expect to lap them several times.”

No amount of money can save Biden’s declining popularity

The Biden-Harris campaign’s announcement came hours before the Iowa caucuses began. Trump won the caucuses for the Hawkeye State with 51 percent, prompting rivals Vivek Ramaswamy and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson to withdraw.

It also came two weeks ahead of the deadline for candidates’ filings with the Federal Election Commission. Most GOP presidential candidates have not released their fundraising numbers for the fourth quarter of 2023.

Only former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who is running for president, announced her fundraising numbers. She raised $24 million for the fourth quarter of 2023, and ended the period with $14.5 million on hand.

Despite the huge war chest backing the Biden-Harris campaign, it cannot be denied that the incumbent’s popularity rating in polls continues to tank. No amount of money can change the minds of people heavily impacted by the Biden administration’s bad policies.

A new poll conducted by ABC News and Ipsos found that Biden’s approval rating as president has plunged to the lowest in almost 20 years. According to the survey, Biden currently has a 58 percent disapproval and a mere 33 percent approval rating. The incumbent’s ratings were the worst number since those of former President George W. Bush, a Republican, between 2006 and 2008.

Looking at the poll, most respondents expressed disapproval of Biden because of his mishandling of the economy – with 56 percent saying so. Seventy-one percent of those polled said the economy was bad, with nearly half of respondents saying they are economically worse off under Biden.

Even women and minorities are turning their back on the Democratic incumbent. Per the poll’s results, Biden’s approval rating with Blacks is 21 percent below average and 15 points below average among Hispanics. From 57 percent of votes in 2020, Biden’s approval among women has dropped to a measly 31 percent.
